Flora Europaea annual, T, 2n=44, tetraploid mesic, sometimes saxicole, on superficial rocky soils from the upper nemoral to the subalpine belt western Palearctic Elyno-Seslerietea, Seslerietalia, Arhhenatheretalia R36, R38, R61, R62, R63 habitats       A quite frequent species in the grasslands and on the mesic rocky habitats from the mountains.
